Miroslava Manavska
Neo-Reichian Analytical Psychotherapist
I am a Neo-Reichian analytical psychocorporeal psychotherapist practicing in Sofia, Bulgaria. I am a member of the Bulgarian Neo-Reichian Psychotherapy Association (BNPA) and the European Association for Body Psychotherapy (EABP).
My first degree was in Indology at Sofia University, and I have a strong interest in languages and linguistics. I pay particular attention to the words I use in communication. I also hold a Master's degree in Psychological Counselling from Varna University and have studied linguistics at Sofia University. I am currently broadening my knowledge of psychotherapy through other body-oriented modalities.
I am a mobility trainer with a specialization from the American Gymnastics Association, as well as a holistic health coach, certified through the CHEK Institute's Holistic Lifestyle Coaching programme.
The body and its potential for physical achievement have always been a powerful source of motivation and personal growth for me. I love movement, and it remains an integral part of my daily life. However, the more I learned about the body, the more I came to understand that we are an interconnected system in which the body is only one dimension. This realization opened up a path of exploration into my mind and soul. It led me to my first therapist's office in 2017. Through our work together, I discovered my desire to dedicate myself to the vocation of psychotherapy and embarked on this path.
Today, I work with individuals and groups in psychotherapy, supporting people on their journeys towards a more self-aware, fulfilled, and authentic expression of themselves.
I am deeply interested in themes such as intimate relationships, minority and small community groups, belonging, the language of words and the signals of the body, nonviolent communication, loss and bereavement, interpersonal relationships, improved social and family functioning, high levels of anxiety, low self-esteem, and other related topics.
