Dora Prangadzhiyska
Psychologist and Neo-Reichian Analytical Psychotherapist
Dora Prangadzhiyska is a Neo-Reichian Analytical Psychotherapist, with a Master's degree in Pedagogy and Psychology. She is also a lecturer and an author. She founded the Academy for Body-Oriented and Integrative Psychotherapy and the ALMA Psychotherapeutic and Training Centre.
Dora is a lecturer at the Bulgarian Institute of Neo-Reichian Analytical Psychotherapy, a supervisor, and a workshop leader at the Bulgarian Association for Natural Psychotherapy. She also teaches and leads workshops at the Institute for Psychosomatics and Integrative Psychotherapy. She works in both individual and group psychotherapy and regularly delivers lectures, seminars, and therapeutic workshops on a variety of topics. Dora specialises in working with adopted individuals and adoptive parents.
She is the author of the books "Thank You, Mum! The Journey of the Adopted from Anger to Forgiveness" and "Not Everything is Our Parents’ Fault".
Dora is the creator of the psychotherapeutic process "Adopting Our Inner Child".
She is a member of the Bulgarian Neo-Reichian Psychotherapeutic Society and of the European Association for Body Psychotherapy (EABP). Between 2015 and 2019, she was an active member of the Bulgarian Association "Adopted and Adopters", passionately working to change public attitudes towards adoption, a cause she embraces personally.
In 2018, she was nominated for the "Golden Apple" award, recognising her contribution to the rights and well-being of children in Bulgaria, awarded by the National Network for Children. In 2019, she received the "Inspirational Women" award, presented by Mila.bg and the newspaper 24 Chasa.
