My name is Galena Tsankova – psychotherapist, mother, traveller, and explorer of inner worlds. My path in psychotherapy began with a personal need – in a difficult period of my life I met my therapist, and that encounter deeply transformed me. Since then, I have believed that true change begins within, when we are ready to meet ourselves with honesty and gentleness.
I work in individual, family and group therapy with a focus on interpersonal relationships, partner dynamics, sexual identity, and anxiety and depressive disorders. My approach is integrative, emphasising body–mind psychotherapy, inner resilience and personal responsibility for change. For me, therapy is not just a tool but a living encounter between two people – a space of illumination, connection and healing.
Before dedicating myself to psychotherapy, I worked for many years in strategic marketing for international brands. That experience gave me an understanding of the visible and the invisible in human choices. Today, I live with the mission of creating a space where people can return to themselves – more connected, freer and more whole.
